Jammu Tawi, Jun 10: The Union Cabinet on Wednesday passed a resolution congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi on becoming the country's longest-serving elected Prime Minister in consecutive terms, while highlighting major security, governance and developmental initiatives undertaken during his tenure.
The resolution, adopted at a Cabinet meeting, noted that PM Modi completed 4,399 continuous days as an elected Prime Minister on June 10, surpassing the record of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, who served continuously for 4,398 days between 1952 and 1964.
