Jammu Tawi, Aug 9: Hundreds of displaced Kashmiri Pandits residing in Jagti township and other migrant camps have accused successive political parties and governments of neglecting their concerns, alleging that their plight is invoked during elections but receives inadequate attention thereafter.
Describing themselves as "political orphans" and the "new untouchables", residents demanded concrete measures for their rehabilitation and a dignified life, saying their constitutional rights and political interests must be adequately addressed.
