Jammu Tawi, Sept. 19 -- A resolution seeking the regularization of daily-wage workers has been listed among seven Private Members' Resolutions drawn for consideration in the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly on September 25, the day reserved for Private Members' business.

The Assembly Secretariat on Friday conducted balloting to select the seven resolutions for the upcoming autumn session. Among them is a resolution submitted by BJP MLA Pawan Kumar Gupta, urging the Government to frame and notify, within a fixed timeframe, a comprehensive and uniform policy for the regularisation of Daily Rated, Casual, NYC, Mid-Day Meal and similarly placed workers across departments and agencies.
