Srinagar, Dec. 11 -- The Union Ministry of Heavy Industries Wednesday informed the Lok Sabha that it has allotted three Hydrogen Fuel Cell (HFC) buses for Jammu and Kashmir under the National Hydrogen Mission.
According to the news agency, the ministry said that a total of 100 hydrogen fuel buses have been deployed across the country, including three in J&K. The deployment is aimed at promoting low-emission mobility and reducing reliance on conventional fossil fuels. The HFC buses operate on fuel cell technology, producing water as the only by-product.
