JAMMU Tawi, Sept 01: The Population Enumeration phase of Census 2027 has begun in the snow-bound areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, with the field exercise formally launched from the remote areas of Dudu and Basantgarh in Udhampur district of Jammu region.

The exercise was launched Amit Sharma, Chief Principal Census Officer and Director, Directorate of Census Operations, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
