India, Sept. 26 -- Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth on Saturday reviewed the operational preparedness of Rashtriya Rifles units in Kashmir for counter-terrorist operations and called upon troops to remain 'mission-ready and counter-terror-ready."Army

Army said that Gen Seth visited Rashtriya Rifles Sector Headquarters under the Srinagar-based Chinar Corps and reviewed operational preparedness for counter-terrorist operations.He was briefed on the prevailing security situation and measures instituted to detect, deter and decisively respond to terrorist threats.

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) commended all ranks for their professionalism, commitment and high standards of operational preparedness.
