GANDERBAL, June 5 -- Thousands of people on Friday joined Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in a mega anti-drug padyatra in Ganderbal district, sending a strong message against substance abuse and reaffirming public support for efforts to build a drug-free society.

The Lieutenant Governor arrived at Qamaria Ground, Ganderbal, where he was welcomed by senior civil and police officials, public representatives, students, youth groups and members of various social organisations before leading the march.
