Srinagar, Sept. 18 -- Leader of Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Sunil Sharma, on Thursday alleged that the Abdullah family wants statehood for imposing the Public Safety Act (PSA) and open firing on youth.

Speaking to reporters in south Kashmir's Anantnag district, Sharma said people of Jammu and Kashmir are not concerned about the restoration of statehood, and that only the Abdullah family wants it "to bring back their lost kingdom".
