Jammu, Aug. 1 -- Finance Dept caps last-quarter spending at 25% of Budget Estimates
Jammu Tawi, Jul 31: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has made it mandatory for departments to utilise at least 80 per cent of the funds already released before seeking any further budget allocation for works during the financial year 2026-27.
According to a Finance Department circular issued on Friday, the utilisation must be reflected in the BEAMS and Treasury accounts before proposals for the release of balance funds are considered.
Administrative Departments have been directed to submit proposals immediately after achieving the prescribed level of utilisation.
