Rajouri (Jammu Div), April 30 -- The Chief Education Officer Rajouri has placed four teachers of Middle School Namblan, Zone Rajouri under suspension following allegations of unauthorized absence and serious administrative lapses in the institution.
The action was taken after a complaint regarding frequent absenteeism of teachers prompted the formation of an inquiry committee comprising two lecturers, who conducted a surprise inspection of the school.
The committee, in its report, found that out of five teachers posted at the school, only one teacher Abdul Shakoor was present during the inspection, while four others, identified as Ayaz Ahmed, Mohd Jhangeer, Vikram Bali, and Mushtaq Ahmed, were absent without any sanctioned leave.
