Srinagar, July 13 -- A mild earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter Scale struck Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district in the early hours of Monday, with no reports of damage or casualties, officials said.
According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the tremor occurred at 2 a.m. at a depth of 10 kilometres. The seismic activity was recorded and shared by the agency through its official update.
Authorities said there were no immediate reports of loss of life, injuries or damage to property at the time of filing the report.
