20 officers appointed as revenue digitisation mentors

Jammu, June 11 -- Mentors to monitor Land Records, Resolve Bottlenecks

Srinagar, Jun 10: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has nominated 20 senior officers as district mentors to monitor and supervise the digitisation of revenue records across all districts of the Union Territory.

An order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), states that the move aims to ensure timely completion of the digitisation process and strengthen monitoring of its implementation under the Digital India Land Records Modernisation Programme (DILRMP).

The officers, drawn from various departments, have been assigned one district each to oversee progress and facilitate resolution of issues affecting the digitisation exercise.
