Srinagar, Aug. 27 -- Two POCSO under-trials who allegedly escaped from Central Jail Srinagar earlier this week have been arrested in Rajasthan, officials said on Wednesday.

Farman Khan, a resident of Rajasthan, and Mukhtar Ahmad Gujjar, a resident of Anantnag district, were arrested from Khan's native town of Sadanpora in Rajasthan, they said.

The duo, who were arrested in separate POCSO cases, allegedly escaped from the Central Jail Srinagar on Sunday.

Khan is facing charges under Sections 3 and 4 of the POCSO Act in a case registered at Lar police station in Ganderbal district, while Gujjar faces the same charges in a case registered at Soura police station in Srinagar.
