Ramban, July 13 -- Eighteen Amarnath Yatra pilgrims sustained minor injuries after a multi-vehicle collision involving two Jammu and Kashmir Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC) buses, a car and a private bus at Langar Point in the Chanderkote area of Ramban district on Monday, officials said.
Deputy Commissioner Ramban said the accident occurred when two JKRTC buses, which were part of the Pahalgam-bound Amarnath Yatra convoy, collided. The impact caused one of the buses to ram into a car, which was subsequently pushed into a private bus.
All the injured pilgrims were immediately shifted to District Hospital Ramban for treatment.
