Jammu Tawi, May 16 -- High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh has declared a 15-day summer vacation for district courts in the Jammu summer zone from June 8 to June 22, 2026.
According to an official notification issued by the Registrar General, the order applies to all district courts in the summer zone of Jammu province. However, courts in Kishtwar and Doda, as well as courts at Batote, Gool, Banihal, Ukhral and Bani have been exempted from the vacation schedule.
The High Court has directed Principal District and Sessions Judges and Chief Judicial Magistrates to make necessary arrangements for hearing urgent criminal matters during the vacation period.
