Nigeria, Sept. 7 -- Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, has come under fire from some of his followers on X after criticising the anchors of Arise TV's Morning Show.

Bwala, in a post on his X handle, accused the programme's anchors of showing a biased stance towards presidential candidates ahead of the 2027 election.

He alleged that the journalists have strong opinions about all the presidential candidates except Peter Obi, the flagbearer of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC.

According to him, the anchors tend to tone down their criticism when discussing the former Anambra State governor, describing their approach as similar to "surrogates advising their principal."
