Nigeria, Aug. 14 -- Senate President Godswill Akpabio has said Osun State should be in a better condition, arguing that the federal allocations accruing to the state are sufficient to drive meaningful development.

Akpabio made the remark in Osogbo while campaigning for the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, ahead of Saturday's election.

He urged Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, to ensure prudent use of public funds and align with the Federal Government to deliver the dividends of democracy if elected governor.
