Nigeria, Oct. 15 -- Troops of the Joint Task Force North West, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, have overrun a Lakurawa terrorists' enclave in Waria Forest, Tangaza Local Government Area of Sokoto State, neutralising several terrorists and recovering weapons and five motorcycles.

The operation was conducted on October 15, 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist hideouts and restrict their movements across the North-West.
