In a statement, NRC Managing Director, Dr. Kayode Opeifa, said emergency response teams were immediately deployed, adding that all passengers have since been accounted for.

"Sadly, three fatalities have been confirmed at this time," the corporation stated, while noting that rescue and recovery operations are ongoing in collaboration with relevant authorities.
