Nigeria, March 28 -- The Nigeria Police Force in Oyo State has launched an investigation into the mysterious death of a teenage boy whose lifeless body was recovered from a swimming pool at the University of Ibadan.

The Command's spokesperson, DSP Ayanlade Olayinka, disclosed this in a statement issued on Saturday in Ibadan.

According to Olayinka, details obtained from the institution's Chief Security Officer indicated that the victim, believed to be between 14 and 15 years old, was found floating on the surface of the pool in the early hours of Thursday.
