Nigeria, Sept. 9 -- The Kano State Police Command has arrested a 35-year-old man, Adamu Musa, a resident of Kureken Sani, for allegedly impersonating a senior police officer and defrauding members of the public. The suspect was arrested on September 1, 2026, at about 7:30 p.m., following a report and intelligence received by officers attached to the Panshekara Police Division. According to a statement issued on Tuesday night by the Kano State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, Musa allegedly presented himself as a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) and claimed to have connections that could help people secure recruitment opportunities into the Nigeria Police Force or obtain transfers to preferred locations. ...
