Nigeria, July 19 -- Wife of Anambra Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo, has expressed joy over the full recovery of a 10-year-old boy, Chiziterem, who was allegedly tortured by his guardian in Awada, Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area of the state.

Soludo, who had earlier promised to monitor the child's treatment until he fully recovered, announced on Saturday that Chiziterem had been discharged from the hospital after making a complete recovery.

In a statement, she said she had settled all the child's medical bills and would also support his mother with resources to establish a sustainable livelihood to enable her cater better for her children.
