Nigeria, April 4 -- A 25-year-old member of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), identified as Adamu Ali, has been shot dead by a suspected repentant fighter linked to Boko Haram in Borno State. The incident occurred on Friday April 3 in Mafa, where an argument reportedly broke out between the deceased and the suspect, 20-year-old Abba Gana, who was also operating within the CJTF structure. According to sources, the disagreement escalated, and Gana allegedly opened fire on Ali, shooting him in the chest with an AK-47 rifle.
