Nigeria, Dec. 29 -- A public dispute between Nollywood actress Doris Ogala and senior pastor Chris Okafor, founder of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracles Ministries, has ended following a public apology by the cleric and its acceptance by the actress.

The controversy began earlier in December 2025 when Ogala accused Pastor Okafor of engaging in a long-term romantic relationship with her and later abandoning her despite promising marriage. Ogala claimed the relationship began in 2017 and said she left her previous marriage based on assurances from the pastor.
