Nigeria, Oct. 3 -- The Anambra State Police Command has expressed serious concern over the reported breach of the agreed peace to end a lingering misunderstanding between Aguleri and Umuoba Anam communities in Anambra East Council Area of the state.

Recall that the violent clashes reported to have been caused by a land dispute had allegedly resulted in the death of a youth and injuries to many, after intense shooting on Thursday.

The State Commissioner of Police, CP Nnanna Oji Ama had embarked on an on-the-spot assessment of the situation, alongside the Military and other top government officials on Friday, during which peace was said to have been brokered.
