Nigeria, May 8 -- Speaking throughout a debate broadcast on AIT and subsequently distributed online, Fayose questioned the rationale behind comparing fuel prices in both nations absent minimum wage disparities.

He contended that since Nigerians battle with a N70,000 minimum pay and petrol costs more than N1,400 per litre, UK employees earn much more and are better able to absorb increasing living expenses.
