Nigeria, Sept. 26 -- A Media Assistant to the First Lady of Anambra State, Dr. Nonye Soludo, Dan Ezeigwe, has clarified that former Governor of the state, Mr. Peter Obi, is not the godfather of any of the children of Governor Chukwuma Soludo and his wife.

Ezeigwe made the clarification in a statement following the circulation of a viral video in which Obi was reported to have said that he and his wife, Mrs. Margaret Obi, are godparents to the children of the Anambra State governor.

According to the statement, the claim, as presented in the video, is not correct and has generated several calls and enquiries seeking clarification from the office of the First Lady.
