Nigeria, Aug. 18 -- The Special Adviser and Spokesperson to the Osun State Governor, Olawale Rasheed, has dismissed claims that the outcome of the recent election in the state was the result of an agreement between the state government and the Federal Government.

Speaking during an interview on Arise TV monitored by The News Chronicle, Rasheed said there was no visible agreement between the Osun State Government and the Federal Government, insisting that the election victory reflected the will of the people.

"There was no visible agreement with the Federal Government. The win in Osun is the will of the people," Rasheed said.
