Nigeria, Aug. 13 -- Meraiah Ekeinde, daughter of Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, announced her engagement on Instagram.

She posted a video that opens with an aerial drone shot of a beachfront cityscape before cutting to a close-up of her hand and a pear-shaped engagement ring.

Meraiah kept her partner's identity hidden throughout the clip. She rubbed his head while angling the camera to keep his face out of view, a choice that drew comments from viewers who asked why she chose not to show him.

Meraiah Ekeinde Celebrities including Adesua Etomi offered congratulations.

The announcement has not been followed by a wedding date.
