Nigeria, March 3 -- Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has expressed gratitude and credited God for the success of the premiere of her first directorial debut, held on Sunday at the Alliance Francaise, Ikoyi, Lagos.

The 48-year-old actress described the project as a deliberate effort to tell stories centered on women. She had earlier said the film grew out of her desire to create "emotionally grounded stories that highlight the strength, sacrifice, and resilience of women."

The film features performances by Olumide Oworu, Noray Nehita, Ifeanyi Kalu, Lilian Afegbai, and Nosa Rex.

Among those present at the premiere was former President Olusegun Obasanjo. The guest list also included Rita Dominic, Toke Makinwa, and Nosa Rex, among others.
