Nigeria, Dec. 21 -- A former governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi and Senator representing Abia North, Enyinnaya Abaribe have urged students in Nigerian universities to imbibe the character of hardwork and integrity, if they are to make meaningful growth in life.

The duo made the call during the 2025/2026 matriculation ceremony of Shanahan University, at the Holy Basilica, Onitsha, Anambra State.

They charged the 694 matriculants for the session to aim for the top.

According to Obi, who was the Presidential Candidate of Labour Party in the 2023 General Elections, success never comes by luck, but through careful, intentional efforts to make progress.
