NYSC: Sani Tasks Corps Members on Community Development, Vigilance
Nigeria, Aug. 26 -- Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has urged members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to use their service year to make meaningful contributions to their host communities and leave lasting footprints.
Sani made the call on Wednesday at the closing ceremony of the 2026 Batch 'B' Stream II Orientation Course in Kaduna.
The governor, who was represented by the Commissioner for Youth Development, Mrs Gloria Ibrahim, commended the corps members for their discipline, patriotism and commitment throughout the orientation program.
He urged them to identify the needs of their host communities through the Community Development Service (CDS) and to develop projects the improve residents' lives.
