Nigeria, May 3 -- In a statement signed by Colonel Appolonia Anele, Acting Director, Army Public Relations, on May 2, and made available to The News Chronicle, the Army said the post brought to its attention grievances allegedly raised by troops but noted that preliminary findings indicated the soldiers also discussed a wide range of issues with Chidiebere, including exchanges it described as potentially inciting discontent within the ranks.

According to the Army, some of the conversations reportedly bordered on subversion, raising concerns over alleged attempts to influence military personnel in ways that could undermine discipline and national security.
