Nigeria, Sept. 10 -- Michael Dell moved into third place on Forbes' real-time billionaire list on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, passing Amazon founder Jeff Bezos for the first time.

Dell's net worth climbed by $4.6 billion on Tuesday to reach $267.7 billion, according to Forbes. The gain came as shares of Dell Technologies closed at a record $533.88, up 1.9% on the day, after touching an intraday high of $538.47.

Michael Dell Bezos lost ground on the same day. His net worth fell by $1.4 billion to $265.2 billion as Amazon shares dropped 0.6%.

Dell now ranks behind only two people: Alphabet co-founder Larry Page, worth an estimated $277.9 billion, and Tesla chief executive Elon Musk, whose fortune stands at $942 billion.
