Nigeria, June 24 -- The directive was contained in a communique issued on Wednesday and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ibadan.

The communique was jointly signed by the state CAN Chairman, Rev. Elisha Ogundiya, and Secretary, Very Rev. Samuel Owolabi.

Expressing concern over the worsening security situation, the association urged churches to become more vigilant and proactive in safeguarding worshippers and church property.
