Nigeria, Oct. 6 -- The Kano State Government has approved the promotion of 18,984 teaching and non-teaching staff of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), alongside the release of N235.1 million to implement the exercise.

The approval was contained in a statement issued on Monday in Kano by the Director-General, Media and Publicity to Gov. Abba Yusuf, Mr Sanusi Bature.
