Nigeria, July 25 -- Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has launched the 2026 wet season free fertilizer distribution programme for 150,000 smallholder farmers, alongside an expanded agricultural mechanisation initiative aimed at boosting food production across the state. The programme was officially flagged off at Murtala Square in Kaduna, where the state government announced the distribution of 500 truckloads of fertilizer and additional support through the provision of agricultural machinery to farmers.
