Nigeria, Sept. 2 -- Haram terrorist and recovered arms and ammunition during an intelligence-led operation in Yobe State. The operation was carried out at about 11:00 a.m. on September 1, 2026, in the Lamusuri general area of Gujba Local Government Area. Troops of the 120 Task Force Battalion under Sector 2, working alongside members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), acted on credible intelligence and moved along a suspected terrorist route in the area. During the operation, the troops sighted a group of Boko Haram fighters and engaged them in a gun battle.
