Nigeria, June 2 -- Speaking during an interview on TVC monitored by The News Chronicle, Buratai expressed concern over the growing audacity of criminal gangs, many of whom openly display ransom proceeds and details of their activities on social media without facing swift consequences.

Reacting to public frustration over the apparent impunity enjoyed by bandits, Buratai dismissed suggestions that the criminals are difficult to trace.

"I don't think they fail to locate. If they can locate ordinary citizens or social media influencers, I don't believe they cannot locate these bandits that flaunt their loots or their activities," he said.
