Nigeria, Jan. 4 -- The much-anticipated defection of Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has been postponed.
Sources close to the governor disclosed that Yusuf had concluded plans to officially announce his defection on Monday, with arrangements reportedly made for him to be the first to register under the APC's newly introduced online membership registration in Kano State.
