Nigeria, June 4 -- At least six people, including four National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members and a Nigerian Army officer, lost their lives in a tragic road accident on the Yola-Song highway in Adamawa State on Wednesday evening.

The crash occurred near Barikin-Sajo when a military gun-truck conveying soldiers reportedly collided head-on with a commercial Hummer bus travelling from Kano to Mubi. The impact triggered a massive fire that engulfed the bus, trapping passengers inside.
