Nigeria, Nov. 3 -- The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Anambra State Sector Command, has confirmed a fatal road traffic crash involving a Toyota Camry car along the Awka-Enugu Expressway, opposite the Old Government House, Awka, on Monday, 2nd November, 2026.

The FRSC State Sector Public Education Officer, SRC Margaret B. Onabe, who disclosed this in a statement in Awka, said the crash, which involved a white Toyota Camry with registration number ASB 264 AV, occurred at approximately 4:31 a.m. and involved five male adults.

According to Onabe, preliminary reports indicate that the vehicle was allegedly travelling at excessive speed before veering off the road into a nearby drainage, hitting a culvert and somersaulted.
