Nigeria, March 28 -- The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu, has underscored the importance of discipline and combat readiness as indispensable pillars for the success of the Nigerian Army's operations.
Shaibu made the assertion during an operational tour of the 33 Artillery Brigade at Shadawanka Barracks in Bauchi, where he addressed officers and soldiers on the core values expected of military personnel.
He emphasised that discipline must remain the bedrock of military service, insisting that the behaviour and actions of troops should consistently demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
