Nigeria, July 27 -- The screening exercise, which will run from July 27 to July 31, 2026, will take place daily from 8:00 a.m. at the hospital's Departments of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) and Radiology.

According to a statement signed by the hospital's Chief Medical Director, Dr. Maureen Umeakuewulu, the initiative is being organised in commemoration of the lives and leadership of Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, and the First Lady, Dr. Nonye Soludo. It is aimed at promoting the health of Anambra residents through the early detection of cancer.
