Nigeria, March 18 -- Their visit follows a directive from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who ordered all service chiefs to relocate to the troubled city after a series of insurgent attacks.
The directive came in the wake of multiple bomb explosions on Monday evening that killed over 20 people and left more than 100 others injured.
Upon arrival, the top military officials were received by the Theatre Commander of Operation Hadin Kai, alongside the General Officer Commanding and other senior officers at the Air Force Base in Maiduguri.
