Nigeria, Jan. 4 -- At least 20 people have lost their lives following a tragic boat accident that occurred on Saturday evening, February 3, 2026, along a waterway leading to Nguru in Yobe State. The victims were reportedly traveling from Adiyani town in Guri Local Government Area of Jigawa State to Nguru when the boat capsized under circumstances that are yet to be fully explained.
