Nigeria, Aug. 27 -- The Lagos State Education District Six has inducted 80 newly recruited teachers and warned them against illegal admissions, unauthorized collection of money from students, and illicit relationships.

The district urged the teachers to uphold professionalism, discipline and integrity as they begin their careers in the public education system.

The Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary of the district, Mrs Mojisola Yusuff, gave the warning at the induction ceremony held at the district headquarters in Oshodi.

Yusuff's remarks were contained in a statement issued by the district's Director of Public Affairs, Mr Ogunbolarin Mobolaji, on Thursday in Lagos.
