Nigeria, Feb. 7 -- Wike, who is locked in a bitter political feud with his former ally and incumbent Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara, made the remarks on Thursday, February 6, while addressing supporters at a public event in Rivers State.
In a blistering speech, the former governor said betrayal is a seed that inevitably produces consequences.
"Whether you are a senator, a House of Representatives member, a minister or a governor, once you support betrayers, betrayal will follow you for life," Wike said.
"The day will come when you will have no mouth to speak, you will collapse, and they will announce that such a person has died because that is the seed you planted."
