Nigeria, June 6 -- The wife of Anambra State Governor, Dr. Nonye Soludo, has said that her NGO, Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo, will collaborate with the Anambra State AIDS Control Agency (ANSACA) to strengthen HIV awareness, testing, and response efforts in the state. Dr. Soludo stated this when a delegation from ANSACA paid her an advocacy visit. Anambra now ranks fifth in the country among sub-national entities with the highest number of people living with HIV. Available statistics place the state's HIV prevalence rate at 2.4 percent, above the national average of 2.1 percent.
