Nigeria, Aug. 18 -- Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has extended an olive branch to opposition parties following his victory in the just-concluded governorship election, urging them to set aside political differences and join hands with his administration to move the state forward.

The governor's spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, disclosed in an interview monitored by The News Chronicle, while speaking on the outcome of the election, that Adeleke was now the governor to all residents of the state, regardless of their political affiliations.
